The **Expansion Audio **is a special mode that allows some **Famicom Games **to use more audio channels than normal for a better audio experience.

To enable expansion audio, simply flip the dip switch **"EXP6" (middle)** on the NES HUB to the **"on" **position. If your NES HUB has a yellow film over the dip switch module, it is safe to remove this.

If you already have an expansion audio mod installed in your console, leave all switches to the **OFF **position.

If you have other mods installed that already make use of the **EXP6** pin, you can use either the **EXP2 or EXP9 **switch to enable expansion audio, providing that your cartridge supports them. Please refer to your cartridge's manufacturer instructions to determine if this is possible.
